EXPERIMENTAL Mono Printing

Making prints is surprising and a lot of FUN! I take an experimental approach to teaching printmaking. As a mixed media artist I use prints as one step along the process of creating collages, paintings, etc. Come try printmaking. I teach monoprinting using an etching press. I teach private or small group sessions. (2-4 people) for ages 8-adult. My studio is at The Arsenal Center for the Arts at 321 Arsenal St. in Watertown. Come once and try it or create a weekly appointment to print. Times/Dates are flexible depending on your needs. Come as a family. Come and print this summer on a rainy day. Come create!

Hi, My name is Deb Putnoi and I love to teach people how to make art. I’d like to show you, (your children, your family, your friends) how to get in touch with your creativity. I find that sharing what I know about the creative process is just as important to me as making and exhibiting art. Teaching inspires my own work. I learn from my students. Whether it is teaching a three year old how to make a mark with charcoal or working with an elderly woman in my Drawing Labs, I am passionate about teaching. I work with people of all ages, with beginners and artists, with teachers and students. I work in schools, community centers, museums and universities. Come to the studio, give it a try, connect with your creative side and see what happens...

I teach private, semi-private and small group (3-5 people) in my studio. My studio is located in Watertown, MA at the Arsenal Center for the Arts.

I teach the following media: DRAWING, WATER BASED PAINTING, COLLAGE AND WATER BASED PRINTMAKING

You choose what you want to explore. It can change weekly.

The Cost is $50/ hour for private sessions, $90/hour for semi-private sessions and $150 for small groups. The cost includes all materials.
